In this multi-tool blade video, I stumbled upon a great alternative to your original equipment replacement blades.

I own a Fein first generation Multimaster tool and the replacement blades are extremely expensive. I found these alternative blades on Amazon and reached out to the company. They were very gracious and set me two of their kits.

First impressions is that for wood and light steel they work great. On heavier 3/8" threaded rod I thought they struggled a bit but did make the cut. I invite to to watch the video and make your own conclusions.
